  • Plant a tree in Tanzania - Usambara Biodiversity Conservation project in Tanzania Usambara Biodiversity Conservation project in Tanzania
Planting fruit and nut trees is a popular way that local farmers can improve the productivity of their land. Through this project community-based self-help groups, with the help of Tree Nation and Friends of Usambara, we have developed Fruits tree nurseries and train participants to graft their own high-quality fruit trees. These can then be sold for a profit or planted to enhance their own farms. The project is focusing on three crops (mango, avocado and macadamia nut) which have high nutritional value and sell for a good price in local markets. Plant with us on this platform.

  • Tree planting in Delaware USA Image of an American Sycamore
The Habitat Recovery & Kindness project started in the foothills of the Pocono Mountains, minutes from the Delaware River. Previously a commercial farm and junk yard, Tree Nation made it their mission to clean and restore the land as a safe and thriving home for native wildlife and the critters of their animal rescue as well. They felt so inspired taking on this endeavour that they have decided to expand. They are now planning to restore forests on land across the USA.

  • saplings growing in a plantation working together to plant a sapling
We are losing many millions of trees in the UK due to disease every year and Dutch elm disease has had the most devastating effect of them all. This coupled, to the lowest level of tree planting across the UK in recent years, means that woods and forests in the UK are seeing a very significant decline, apart from a few selected areas like the National Forest and the proposed Northern Forest. This is your opportunity to make a personal contribution to the reforestation of the UK, under a programme that will make a demonstrable difference ! • Clean Cook Stoves in Sub-Saharan Africa-3 Clean Cook Stoves in Sub-Saharan Africa-1
CookClean manufactures efficient cookstoves to displace the resources wasteful and unhealthy traditional stoves which kill 13,400 people and subject 21 million to Household Air Pollution yearly in Ghana. This method of cooking has a devastating effect on Ghanaian forests which have been reduced to 25% of its original size. Furthermore, CookClean manufactures sustainable biomass cooking fuels made of agricultural waste and sawdust in its own 2nd production facilities to complement the stove production. CookClean has therefore enhanced the transition of cooking on open fire to using efficient cookstoves and also transitioned from the use of environmentally unsustainable firewood to sustainable biomass fuels. This small run-of-river hydroelectric generating power plant is providing renewable energy to the national grid (displacing traditional fossil fueled power plants), whilst improving the quality of electricity for local communities in the department of Colon. Improved access to electricity also reduces the dependency on fuel wood, helping to relieve deforestation pressures in the local environment. Change Quantity to add more Kilograms:
